The Cobra AIR-X 2024 driver is designed to be extremely lightweight. Every part of the club is extremely lightweight: blade, shaft and handle. This results in faster shots and more distance.
The diver has a larger offset than usual, which allows for adjustment of the cuts. The club is black with red and yellow details. It has a Cobra Ultralite 50 graphite shaft and a Lamkin REL handle.
AIR-X is a family of clubs specifically designed for players with slower swing speeds. At lower swing speeds, it is more difficult to lift the ball with traditional clubs, resulting in a loss of distance. Many players with slower swing speeds also struggle with their shots. AIR-X was designed to address this issue. This is achieved by significantly moving the clubhead and improving weight distribution in the heel. These two features ensure that the clubhead rotates and hits the ball straight, resulting in straight, smooth and beautiful shots. The AIR-X driver is 40 grams lighter than the Cobra Darkspeed, meaning the increased swing speed is immediately noticeable. This year's driver features Cobra's new HOT Face technology. The thickness of the clubhead has been optimized using artificial intelligence to ensure consistent ball speed even on off-center hits.
